Small Yellow Underwing

The Small Yellow Underwing is fairly widespread and common in Warwickshire. It is a day-flying species of moth that is on the wing on warm sunny days during May and June. It can be found in meadows, along roadside verges and railway embankments, in woodland clearings and disused quarries.
